How can i make outlook 2016 for mac use the same mail file as outlook in my 2010 vm under fusion

Notifications change a little which affects how Outlook reminders appear. The Interface gets a refresh with a taller and translucent menu bar, floating dock, full height sidebars, changed app icons and new symbols.
